Proxreader 20 Reader
MSRP US $232
Ringdale's Proxreader 20 is a compact, discreet, and waterproof design that can
easily be attached to indoor and outdoor doorframes, walls, and printers.
The Proxreader 20 is multipurposed and can be used with Gatekeeper standalone
door controller, Duplo Network Controllers, Duplo Time and Attendance Controller,
PCsafe, and the FollowME product lines.
Every employee is issued a proximity card. Each card has it's unique code and will
identify each employee. When clocking IN and OUT for the day and to gain access
to the secure areas the employee waves the card, the Sentinel Management software
will then log each event and/or open a lock if the employee has been granted access
at that time. All events are gathered at a central PC/server, which may be situated
anywhere in the LAN/WAN.
The system does not has a user limit and means the system can be easily scaled for
any organization wishing to incorporate it. The system is adaptable in many ways
and can be easily integrated into existing systems. The devices themselves can be
programmed for 10.000 users with individual access patterns. The device stores its
database and access time in Flash memory, in contrast to traditional systems that
relay on a battery to keep data intact during a power failure.
The Proxreader 20 utilizes RJ 11 connectivity from the Duplo Controller and unlike
traditional access systems that convert from hardwired or RS-485 to Ethernet. Using
converters and bridges are found to be more prone to lighting strikes and costly
downtime.
A complete Proxreader 20 system requires a Duplo Controller, Sentinel Software,
Door Strike, and proximity cards or key fobs.

Combi Keypad/FP/Proximity ( Wiegand Proximity option )
MSRP US $328
Description
Ringdale's Combi Keypad/FP/Proximity is a compact Access Keypad with Finger
Print Reader offers flexible and secure control of doors, printers, and time and
attendance equipment. The unit can also connect directly to any of Ringdale's
Biometric Access Control Systems.
The reader combination, which uses capacitive sensor technology, is ideal for
installations where proximity, access codes and/or finger print recognition is
required. This concept allows the user to immediately use existing proximity
cards and keycodes for access and gradually migrate to finger print recognition.
Authentication can be programmed to rely upon a personal identification number
(PIN) that is entered into the keypad and/or a finger print’s unique non-transferable,
physical characteristics to provide the highest level of access control available.
Entering the code and/or touching a fingertip on the capacitive sensor will open
the door to an authorized user.
This system reduces initial outlay costs, eliminating the need to issue keys or
cards to every user. It is also a more convenient and secure method of entry
for the user as they no longer have to carry cards or office keys with them.
The system works by decoding individuals' finger print information into a unique
code and does not store users finger print images.
A complete Combi Reader System requires Duplo Controller, Sentinel Software,
Door Strike, and proximity cards or key fobs (if required) when using the proximity
option
Key Features
Convenient and secure method of controlling door entry
Combined authentication may rely on a numeric code and a fingerprint's unique,
non-transferable, physical characteristics to gain entry

Duplo Access Controller
MSRP US $852.50
Ringdale’s Sentinel Network Access Controllers combine a power supply and
battery charger, space for one lead acid battery up to 17 AH, as well as a
networkable access controller which can be connected to a number of recognition
devices, for example Proximity/Swipe card and Finger Print readers. They
can also drive a number of locking devices such as Ringdale’s pulse locks or
electronic bolts, for high security applications.
Sentinel Network Access Control systems are suitable for driving up to two bolts
or two strike mechanisms and up to two recognition devices.
The Sentinel Network Access Controller is suitable for use in any application,
whether networked or stand-alone, which requires long continuous operation
in the event of power failure, as it acts as an Uninterruptable Power Supply.
In normal operation, the battery is trickle charged via two mains transformers,
to provide for extra redundancy, and feeds the power to the built in Controller.
During a power failure, the battery continues supplying power. Please note a
battery is not included.
The Sentinel Network Access Controller can be used with Ringdale’s range of
Ringdale's recognition devices and Ringdale’s Pulse Operated Door Strike or
Security Bolt, which require very little power to operate, vastly extending the
operational time available during a power failure to 100 times that of
conventional systems.
Ringdale also offer an optional range of compatible readers. These include
standard ISO Proximity/Swipe card, Keypad, Barcode, Finger Print and
Wiegand Protocol readers.
